Emily Walker (she/her)

Board-Certified Music Therapist

“Music is the universal language of mankind.” This quote guides my practice as a Board-Certified Music Therapist. Music can guide us through moments in life and can be used to validate our experiences. I use client preferred music in my practice to establish a therapeutic relationship to achieve client goals. I implement different interventions in sessions that are within the four methods of music therapy (recreative, compositional, improvisational, and receptive).
